Panthers QB Jimmy Clausen no fan of DNC

Carolina Panthers quarterback Jimmy Clausen has lost his patience with the traffic snarls associated with the Democratic National Convention. From Clausen's twitter feed:

Can't wait to get out of town tom!!! This DNC stuff is ridiculous...can't even get into my own garage!  GRACIOUS!

The Panthers fly to Florida tomorrow to prepare for their opener Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and avoid the tie-ups at Bank of America Stadium associated with Barack Obama's Thursday speech.

I understand that everyone wants to bag on Clausen, but he has been nothing but a consummate professional since he came to the Panthers. Let's face it, he basically brought a knife to a gun fight his rookie season. I am not saying he would ever be great, but I do think he could have developed into a serviceable backup given the correct scenario and leadership. This offense clearly does not fit him.

To constantly rag on him is borderline ridiculous.

I suspect that Jimmy has as much chance of being here as most of the Liberals at the Observer. Can you say weekly paper only?

Obama will be the most pathetic thing to be on the field in BofA stadium since Clausen last played on it.

both are way in over their heads, clueless has to what to do, and should have been cut long ago.
